Patient Stories

Real Patients, Back to the Activities They Love

Ron, on the slopes

Ron, 72

Back to 75 ski days at 72 years old

Ron came in with knee arthritis. He was skiing fewer than 40 days a year and thinking about his knees the whole time. After his care with us, he skied 75 days in one season. That was more than he had skied in the last 15 years. He stopped back in to tell us it was the best ski season he could remember.

Grace

Avoided knee and spinal surgery

Grace was told she needed knee replacements and aggressive spinal surgery. She had joint pain, spinal degeneration, and numbness in her arms and legs. She did not know if anything could help. Her nerve pain is now gone, and she is back to cycling. She rested one ski season on purpose and plans to return to the slopes next season.

Grace, back on her bike
Jeffrey, on the trail

Jeffrey, 49

Hiking again after a failed knee surgery

Jeffrey is a 49-year-old climber with a failed knee surgery. Before he came to us, he could not hike, and he had a once-in-a-lifetime trip planned that he did not think he could manage. After a round of treatment, he hiked the whole trip, uphill and downhill, with no problem.

Every patient is different. Your body, your history, and your goals all shape what is possible for you. These are real results from people we have treated, and what happens for you will be your own.

Three Steps

How it Works

1

Book Your $99 Evaluation

You come in for a full evaluation. We take your history, talk through your goals, and examine how you move. This includes imaging such as X-ray or diagnostic ultrasound when it is needed. You also get a first treatment on this visit, so your healing begins Day 1.

2

Get Your Strategy Review

We don't just treat today's pain. We identify why your body isn't moving well and build a plan to help you stay skiing, hiking, and cycling for decades, not just until the pain comes back.

3

Start Your Care

Once you choose a plan, we get you scheduled and begin. Most plans run 12 weeks.

Not a Sales Appointment

A Complete Plan, Built Around Your Goals

Most clinics offer a free consultation. That's a sales appointment.

This is a full clinical visit. We take your history, examine how you actually move, image the joint when it's warranted, and treat you before you leave. You walk out with a written plan and real answers whether or not you choose to continue care with us.

At $99, it costs less than most co-pays for a specialist visit that ends with "let's watch it."

01

Non-Surgical Treatment

We use regenerative treatments such as shockwave. These are non-invasive, so there is no surgery and no long recovery.

02

Care for the Whole Body

Pain in one joint often starts somewhere else. We check how your hips, knees, and ankles work together, and we treat the cause of the problem.

03

A Clear Path

You get a written plan with defined steps and a timeline. Most plans run 10 to 12 weeks. You always know what comes next.

04

Long-Term Support

After your initial plan, we help you stay strong with tune-ups and check-ins. This is ongoing care, built for the decades ahead.

FAQ

Your Questions, Answered

What types of conditions do you treat?

Joint, tendon, and muscle pain, arthritis, joint degeneration, and old injuries that never fully healed. We work with people whose knees, shoulders, hips, or backs are keeping them from hiking, skiing, biking, or golfing the way they used to. Many come to us after physical therapy, injections, chiropractic, or medication stopped short of lasting relief, or while they're trying to put off surgery. Your evaluation tells us whether regenerative care is a fit for your body and what's realistic.

What is included in the New Patient Evaluation?

A New Patient Evaluation includes your full medical history, a physical and orthopedic exam, imaging, and a first treatment.

Do I have to commit to anything when I book the evaluation?

No. This is a no-obligation evaluation. You come in, get answers, and decide what you want to do next.

How do I know if I'm a candidate for regenerative medicine?

Patients needing this care often have chronic pain, stiffness or lack of mobility in a joint or joints.

Does insurance cover any of this?

Insurance plans do not cover functional medicine, but if you have a HSA or FSA, you can use those tax-advantaged funds for your treatment plan.

I already had surgery that did not work. Can you still help?

Often, yes. We treat many people who are recovering from surgery or did not get the result they hoped for.

How long until I feel better?

It depends on your situation. Most acute care plans run 12 weeks. We provide a timeline during your strategy review.

Where are you located?

We have office locations in Ridgway and Telluride, Colorado. All new patient evaluations are held at our Ridgway office.
